Effort to Benefit Calvin Nelms Charter School

The kick-off was held at The Fellowship at Cinco Ranch on Sunday afternoon, June 10th, as area churches and fake prada bags for sale members gathered to celebrate last years inaugural Katy ServeFest and to plan and prepare for this year’s event.

The Extreme Makeover project at Calvin Nelms Charter School will include landscaping work, painting, remodeling, school preparation support for oncoming students, and more, on July 28th and August 4th from 8am to 5pm. All work is pre-planned in 4-hour increments and tailored to the volunteers talents and abilities. Compassion Katy will also accept financial donations to support this effort specifically.
