Katy ServeFest 2009 Update

Compassion Katy has been hard at work getting ready for Katy ServeFest 2009!  Planning meetings, working with the Katy YMCA and The Krause Center to identify the needs and projects that we’ll be working on this summer, starting to seek out donations for materials to complete these important tasks. 

2009 Spring Workday Success!

Compassion Katy’s Spring Workday on March 28th was a huge success!
We had 68 volunteers representing 4 churches, 3 high schools and two organizations giving 600 work hours and blessing the Katy YMCA’s Camp Cinco on Mason Rd.  We successfully completed all of the projects on our list in one day!  A big thank you goes out [...]

Spring Workday 2009

CompassionKaty.org is sponsoring a Spring Work day on March 28th, 2009 from 8am to 5pm.  We will be working at the Katy Family YMCA Day Camp on Mason Road doing several projects that will benefit both the YMCA and The ARC of Katy who uses this facility during the week.  Lunch will be provided.
