Compassion Katy Non-Profit Partners


Compassion Katy refers to the following agencies to help secure assistance for families and individuals in need.  These agencies also may have volunteer opportunities for those interested in giving back to the community.

Act of Life- Educating and equipping the community regarding adoption.

Angel Food Ministries (at Living Word Lutheran Church) - Provides low cost food to the community.

The Arc of Katy - Serves the special needs population and their families.

The Breath of Life Clinic - Provides quality medical care to uninsured and under-insured children.

Brookwood Community – Provides Spiritual, Educational and Vocational opportunities for adult with special needs.

Catholic Charities of Fort Bend County- Meeting a wide range of needs: adoption and foster care, seniors, food and financial assistance, counseling services, disaster recovery, immigration legal assistance, housing, AIDS ministry and immigrant and refugees.

Career and Recovery Resources- Education and employment assistance.

Child Advocates of Fort Bend - Advocate for abused and neglected children through the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program and public awareness.

Christ Clinic Katy- Offers acute care and chronic healthcare services to those who are uninsured.

Katy ArtReach – An art and educational outreach organization that brings mentors and art related programs to the underprivileged.

Katy Christian Ministries- Emergency financial assistance, food pantry, resale shops, domestic abuse and sexual assault crisis center.

Katy ISD Keys Mentoring Program- Provides mentors for at risk children attending KISD campuses.

Kissito Post Acute Cane Island – Opportunities to love elderly that are wards of the state.

Lunches of Love – A not-profit that provides free nutritious sack lunches during extended school hours.

Oakmont Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center- Inpatient nursing care for the elderly.

Pregnancy Help Center of West Houston- Helps affirm life by assisting women and their families during crisis and unplanned pregnancies, parenting classes, counseling and prayer, and other assistance.

Houston Area Red Cross- Assists with emergency response, help for needy, support and comfort for military families, international relief and volunteer training.

Katy Family YMCA-  Puts Judeo-Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirits, minds and bodies.
